CASHIER NOTES FOR EACH BOOTH
SHIFT CHANGE NOTES
- Beginning of Day: The Ginza Square admin team (Jerry, Dana, Jason, Kristin, Alexa) will be responsible for distributing terminals to each booth at the beginning of each Ginza day. Terminals and iPads will be charged, powered on, and logged on (cashiers don’t need to power or sign on).
- Shift Changes: Make sure that you hand off your equipment to your replacement. Never Leave the Square Terminal unattended (they are expensive and rented!). Please make sure that someone in the booth is physically responsible for the terminal.
- End of Day: When you close your booth we ask that you bring the Cash box AND terminal to the office. Exception – for the Refreshment booth, the Ginza admin team will collect the iPad Terminal BUT bring your Cash box to the office.
GENERAL OPERATING NOTES
- Food Sanitation Guidelines: If you are a Cashier (handling money) in a food concession booth you must not handle any food items.
- Order Taking & Order Filling: Cashiers should communicate with the order filling team and manage the flow of taking new orders (so we do not over-run the capacity to fill orders.)
- Equipment Issues: Each location using a White Square Terminal will have extra receipt tapes on hand. If you have any other issues with your device contact Jerry, Dana, or Jason.
PLEASE NOTE: Our expanded Square Cashier operations is new this year. As we start, we may find we need to make adjustments to make things more efficient or clearer. Your help and patience is appreciated!
